the rack pulls always kill me, i don't know why. My deadlift sucked today, too. probably because I trained at 10 AM, not used to this.. This is normal. I always have to dig deep to finish the deadlifting as I'm tired and sore from Monday and second deadlift movement is always tough. This is where you build the strength IMO!

do you guys think i should keep to the program (doing flies), and do light upper back work as gpp? I would stick to the program and do some pushing GPP, flies or dumbbell pressing.

John, I would run Dave's beginner 13 week program on this forum. It's a great routine and my training partner and I are still running it after 3 years and hitting PBs.

Pretty much what Ben said - I would definitely buy a copy.

Sounds like the deload is working well. You should be up for some good PBs next week.

I would do plan 1 and then the final 3 weeks of plan 3.

BTW, that is a pretty awesome bench you have. Please let us know how you get on with the program.

Yeah I would run part 1 and part 3 if that is all you have time for.

Just do the final two weeks of #32 if you have 2 weeks. If time isn't actually a constraint, just do the whole of #32 and only go to 95% in the skills evaluation in week 1.

You would be better off running the final week of #32 and doing your skills test at the end of the week. Even better would be to run the final two weeks.
I wouldn't hope for any great PBs if you are going to do a skills test the Wednesday after you finish your prep cycle. Like you said yourself, you're really tired.

Great lifting. You should've gotten best lifter IMO.
There was more in the tank on all three I think.

Ado - Week 2, Wednesday. The first exercise 'panca piana' - is this bench press or deadlift?

Perhaps running 29-30-31-32 might be good with some reduced volume. Or Ben is currently running a reduced volume CMS cycle that he is doing very well from. Ado Gruzza has also posted a CMS cycle up here that looks pretty good.

What is your rating? Have you run #37 etc. before?
29-30-31-32 is pretty nasty. I ran it once a while back and it was too much for me.

I'm not actually sure 39/40 are Sheiko programs. Some of the exercises in those plans I've never seen in any other plan. They look like modified plans based on #37 & #29.

That's #29 > #30 > #31 > #32

Well life gets in the way. In hindsight, perhaps it would've been best to program your skills test just before you went away drinking.
You could just run #29>#32 which will give you a skills test in 8 weeks.
