Eric, With the sports drink you recommended on Elite, how necessary is the dextrose? If I am more concerned with say electrolyte loss/cramping and don't want the extra sugar/dextrose would you leave it out? Thanks, Jared

Thanks, Jared Jared: If you think you will be tapping into glycogen stores (aerobic activities) then I would add the dextrose. When I train anaerobically, I do not use the dextrose and seem to do just fine. Perhaps a happy medium would be to cut the prescribed dextrose in half and try that first. The original recommendation was for aerobic activities.

Ok....that makes sense. I didn't see that it was recommended for aerobic exercise on elite.
