Eric/Dave or any others that have used a tendo unit: how do you utilize the unit with sheiko training? Do you use it to track progress (ie comparing bar speed with same loads etc)? Are there other things the unit can provide useful feedback for sheiko training? Do you know where I can get a good unit? Our gym has decided to invest in one along with some decent software.

Damn, your gym is bullit lads.
All that sweet kit is wasted on you Bagpipe, you just want a mouldy old cage with a bog about half a mile away and a little crazy monkey geezer elbow striking the mirrors and banging on about blitzing his leg press PB.
Right?

Eric/Dave or any others that have used a tendo unit: how do you utilize the unit with sheiko training? All I do with it is keep a eye on my velocity of the bar movement and try to understand how my body is reacting to a training session. Do you use it to track progress (ie comparing bar speed with same loads etc)? Yes, for skills evaluations. Especially on the top set. In theory, if you move the same bar weight faster, you should be stronger. Are there other things the unit can provide useful feedback for sheiko training? It can show how efficient you are executing each rep compared to the rep before.Do you know where I can get a good unit? www.tendosport.com/index.php?file=twa&checkproducts=do Our gym has decided to invest in one along with some decent software. Let me know if you have any more questions.
