Dear all,
have got a pretty knacked shoulder from to much benching and a poor technique. I am going to do my next 13 week cycle without any benching and sort my shoulder out.
Dave or anyone else do you have any suggestions on how to work in some back / shoulder work into the current 13 week no equip cycle.
any suggestions would be helpful i think i'll have the shoulder prob fixed soon as its getting better every day
thanks in advance

Eric, thanks for the reply. i haven't tried but i'm in the gym later today so i'll give it a go and let you know how i get on eric, still a bit of pain when i bench like this Where are you at currently with the pain? Bottom line: if it hurts then doin't do it. Remember that developmental S.P.P. exercises are not going to necessarily directly build your strength. Have you seen anyone about your injury or anyone that can addresss rehabilitation for you? If you follow my log then you know how quick I am to rehabilitate injuries when I get them. Let us know...

I would stay that course for a bit. When will you be finishing up your current block of training?

well i've kept doing the 13week non equip cycle but i've subbed the bench work for various back exercises like pull ups and different rows. i'll be done in 12weeks as i've just started. its probabally been a small blessing that i've hurt my shoulder as i've never done a lot of constant back training. eric, thanks a lot for the interest you've shown and advice you've given.

Sure thing! Just keep us posted on when you are good to go for bench pressing and we will square you away. If I get too busy and somehow miss your update, then holler at me via email at etalmant@hotmail.com and put the link in your email.
