Why the 'slow' sq's and 'fast' pulls...?
You're thinking that your sq carries over to your pull well enough that you'll get the adaption from the quasi-iso from that, but you need the speed in the pull to get past any sticking points?

I dont no. I haven't pulled for 3 months due to being at a gym that doesn't condone deadlifting (yes I know) but even though my leg strength is way up its had no positive effect on my pull. Because I get such a big stretch reflex out of the deadlift now I've reach the stage I realise I have to train it and often. With a pull (no stretch reflex) my best pull is around 240kg... you can see here; Also my best rack pull is 250kg from 2" below the knee....once I hit the knee position I can deadlift 300kg from pins no problem. Strength curve is way out of wack....

Hey there! Tempo manipulation can indeed add a whole new dimension to your workouts. I've personally found it to be a game-changer in refining my lifting technique and enhancing muscle control. When it comes to integrating tempo into Sheiko workouts, it's all about finding the right balance to complement the program's structure. While King and Poliquin offer valuable insights, customizing it to suit your individual needs is key. For rate-dominant lifters, like myself, tempo variations can work wonders, especially when targeting specific weaknesses or addressing form issues. Experimenting with longer eccentric phases, such as 5-10 second eccentrics, can really help in maintaining control and maximizing muscle engagement. If you're looking to delve deeper into tempo manipulation or need some guidance on incorporating it effectively into your routine, I've found write my paper for me to be an excellent resource. Their expert writers can assist you with research papers, essays, and even workout plans, ensuring you get the most out of your training journey. Give them a try, and let the gains speak for themselves!
