Alright.
I'll give it some though over the next few weeks. I'll have to find a 1rm for a given anchor height and band selection, and then select either a reasonable fraction of that 1rm, or a new translateable set of % to apply to the original volume template since rev bands bring in a whole new level of neurological accomidation (less than the prescribed % in the hole, and more than the prescribed % in the lockout). It could be complicated, but for the equiped lifter, a valuable experiment.
I'll certainly either start a new thread, or continue an open dialogue with my findings within this thread.

I think a new thread would be ideal.

Is it best to do good mornings without a belt or with. Should you do 40% of your equiped squat or 40% of your raw squat max.

[To your first point: yes. However, if you want a strong lockout for shirt benching then overloading the top with just straight weight for board presses, etc. is the way to go in my opinion over chains and bands.Eric Why do you feel boards are better than using chains, curious for your reasoning. I have studied the theory of "mini-maxes" and the training for them I believe has been bastardized. In my finding there was better success when the mini-max was loaded all at once in that particular spot as opposed to gradual or incremental loading which is pretty much what the chains do. I am not saying there is no place for chains; but given the choice I would take straight weight while training right below the definitive mini max over loading with chains. Try them both and see which one brings you better success and then go with that one. Even the Russians cannot account for everone

I've frequently used around 60% for Good Mornings (standing) since I started the programming and even they don't feel that heavy. 40% wouldn't have done the trick for me, all about individual leaverages I guess.

Interesting, what are your raw numbers Mark? I cannot perform the arched back good morning's on Sheiko as my upper/lower back strength does not permit good positioning, even with as low as 40%. Guess its (another) thing to work on.
