I'm Ben Etringer, a powerlifter from Mayodan, NC. I have world records in 100% RAW and AAU. I am constantly on the computer. And outside of training, and comps, I'm a normal 15 year old.

I'm Kristi from Pittsburgh, PA. After competing in natural figure and bodybuilding competitions (culminating in a National Novice win in '06), I decided to switch my focus to powerlifting. I'm trained by Ryan Celli of Celli's Fitness Center. My first meet was in Sept. 07, when I competed raw in the IPA PA States and set all the records for my weight class. Next, it was on to the Raw Unity Meet where I set some PRs and realized how much I love this darn sport! Next up for me is the 9th Annual Pittsburgh Monster Meet, a push/pull event that is really popular in our area.

Hey there, I'm Amber from Trenton, GA. I compete in raw and geared powerlifting in 181, 198, and 220 weight class and strongwoman heavyweight class. My first meet was a push/pull with SPF back in "04 which encouraged the addiction to iron I already had. Since, I've competed in unsanctioned fund raisers, SPF and APF in the southern states, coming in 1st place in my division every meet. I now train with Jesse Rodgers and the Chattanooga Iron Men, working toward elite status in all 3 weight classes and work with SPF at their local meets.
On a personal note, I'm a wife to a national level olympic lifter turned competitive strongman and a mother of 4 boys and 1 girl, ages 6-11. I work with athletes and chronic pain management patients as a licensed massage therapist specializing in neuromuscular therapy and mattes method. I love sports and try my best to keep up with college and pro football, soccer, and UFC fighting.
I'm only online in short spurts between clients or between errands, but I will do my best to be supportive and an encouragement to all atheletes on this board. If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask.

Name: Jim aka TheGymMuse
State of residence: metamorphic (or Maryland)
Age/DOB: 3/24/56, chronologically- 52, in terms of life- boy.
State of being: lifts weights.
Immediate Goal- desires to be bigger then a brick outhouse!
Future Goal-Save powerlifting from itself
Occupation: besides being a pain in the rear to my friends and especially my wife, I work for the US government where I intensify my efforts and hone my skill.
What I'm doing now: listening to David Bowie's Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars while I type this stuff.
I've competed in powerlifting on and off for over the last 18 years. Powerlifting is my life. It has ruined mine..., how 'bout yours? ;D
In closing; dogs respect each other more then powerlifters do each other. Why???
Unfortunately, like dogs, there are a number of breeds. Too bad...., the question why unity cannot be possible becomes crystal clear when you think in the terms I would suggest.

My name is Danny Aguirre, although I've been lifting for nearly 30 years I've only been competing since 2004. My first several meets were deadlift only meets. I had never considered competing until I was talked into it by some friends at the gym. At my first meet I pulled 500 @ 162 and I was hooked. I had no idea that that was actually considered a good lift for my weight. I did a couple of more meets after that my best being 530 @ 162. Unfortunately I had a small bout with cancer that kept me out of competition for a couple of years after that. My best full power meet lifts @ 181 since then have been a 550 squat, ( with knee wraps ) 330 bench and 540 deadlift ( bar slipped out of my hand with 570 ). My 530 @ 162 got me a #86 ranking in Powerlifting USA's top 100. I've made the top 100 twice more lifting raw against equipped lifters. My top meet deadlift has been 560 @ 177 which ranked #9 in Powerlifting Watch for 2007. My best gym pull has been 590 @ 180 and a 540 squat without wraps. Looking forward to interacting more with all of you on the BMF team.

Hello everyone
My name is Jeff - I'm pretty much a sports and fitness nut. When I'm not running, biking, lifting or chasing my kids around (the activities that consume the better part of my waking hours) I'm usually watching some MMA, boxing or hockey.

Hi folks, I'm Jim Patterson from Pittsburgh, PA. AKA Toolpod or Princess Die depending on the forum. I'm a former track runner turned video gamer turned bench specialist ;D I started competing in Mar 2006, my last meet was the Raw Unity Meet in January where I turned in a comp PR of 440@198. I just got my wife to switch from Triathlons to PL this last year. I just moved up to the 220s for good, I'm 211 right now, I'll probably got to 215-218. My goal is to catch up to guys like JT Hall on the bench My wife and I are doing the 9th Pittsburgh Monster meet this year. This is one of the highest pure-fun-factor meets anywhere. ;D Outside of powerlifting I'm a Dad and an electrical engineer. I have two kids who are chomping at the bit to try PL.

my name's greg nuckols and i'm 16 years old. God is my first priority and i know i would not be able to accomplish anything if He hadn't blessed me so much more than i deserve. i've been lifting seriously for about a year and really enjoy the challenge and camaraderie of the sport. in my limited experience, the powerlifters i've met are some of the nicest people in the world and will be quick to help out the little rookie. i'm an average kid i guess. i go to school, play basketball, probalby spend a little too much time on girls , play a little guitar and just generally enjoy life.

I was fortunate to meet both Jim and Greg at the Raw Unity meet. Both great guys and great lifters. Greg, How do you not play football being as strong as you are? You'd tear up the field!

I dont have any more compeition footage of myself. If you do need some I could throw somethin together possibly. Call me Mr. Lyte again and I'll spank you! Since you're logged in with a username now, try posting to the pro team board. It is important that team members and sponsored athletes maintain presence and activity - whether online or offline - to exhibit their level of interest and involvement, thus justifying support from the company. We're not looking for lifters to/who make being online their raison d'etre, but exhibit understanding that BMF Sports sponsorship and support are never given but earned. You're a local(ish) guy, so I'd like to see if we can arrange a get-together and workout with John Dolan and Bill Blackstone.

My bad Bud, I understand what is involved with a sponsorship and will show my involvement in more ways than 1.
Your out of Chicago? I am doing a project down in MS for a few more months but I would be more than happy to get together with you and the rest. I am always up for learning something new. Nice talking
