Hello Everyone,
I am new to this forum and am 5 weeks out from my first powerlifting competition (just decided to do it with a buddy)and am wondering if there is a specific sheiko program that would benefit me for this time frame (have seen the 5 week comp cycle, but from my understanding that is only used for lifters that have been training sheiko). I am 24 years old and have been training seriously for six years. I usually switch between high volume power/hypertrophy splits and westside. I have run #29 before (3 years ago), but that is my only experience with sheiko. I am 165 lbs and hope to total around 1225 (415 squat, 295 bench, and 515 deadlift. All numbers i have hit in training recently)@ my upcoming meet. Let me know if any more information is needed. Thanks for your time and help.

I suggest you either continue your standard routine and usual comp cycle you normally use for meets, than start using shieko for your next meet. Else if you are currently at a loss and must do shieko, you do first 3 weeks of 29 and last 2 weeks of 32.

Thank you for the reply. I agree, that makes the most sense. I will stick with westside until this meet is over and continue to research sheiko for future plans. Again, thanks for your time.
