Hi all, really pleased to find a Sheiko dedicated forum. I've been training specifically for Powerlifting for the past 12 months. I used mainly Wendlers 5 3 1 for 8 months and then moved onto Sheiko. I've completed cycles 29 & 37. My first meet is in Febuary and I was intending to run with the CMS-MS 5 week comp cycle. I'm very comfortable with the volume from 29 & 37 but appreciate that the CMS routine has an extra day. Just wondering what kind of experience and advice you guys might have for me?
It may be worth mentioning that from the first two cycles I've done I feel my Bench and Squat have improved but my Deadlift hasn't really. I see that the extra day of the 5 week cycle is a Deadlift day which I think will be good for me. What are your thoughts?

OK I've been going through the back log of the forum and I see that the opinion will be that I'm nowhere near ready to take on the CMS cycles.
I've now revised and I'm gonna do 6,7,10,11 and 12 of the 13 week program as was adviced to someone else in a similar position. There was a question as to whether or not he should have done the skills assesment week. I haven't checked maxes for 2-3 months now so is that something I should consider??
Out of interest why is it that you need to be at a certain level before you do the CMS cycles??

Because the amount of volume in CMS will destroy your body and lead to overuse injuries rather than stimulate strength gains.
