ok this is more to wake up the forum. I started with 29 then moved to 39 because I started a manual labor job and wanted a lower volume cycle. Then I realized 39 was just 29 juggled it. I did 39 again with the same assistance but fixed the main work back to 29. I have a meet scheduled for Dec 3rd and was thinking something more intense was in order so I am going for #30 next. The bench seems a bit steep as I was already using a higher max but the squat looks nice with 2 days at 90% singles and the deads are more volume off the floor. Actually the whole cycle seems a bit more main lift than assistance. Thoughts? This should leave me ready for 6 days off then I will do week 1 of #32 only going to 95% on day 2 and then do week 4 of #32 up to the meet on the last day of week 4. I wouldn't take 6 days off before starting #32, as you will detrain too much.
Where are you in your current cycle and how many weeks do you have left after this one, 7?

I just did week 4 day 1 of #39. I will finish this cycle on Tuesday and after that, yes I have 7 weeks. I am planning to start #30 next but am feeling a bit fatigued. Sounds like you would think taking the time off before starting #30, then running right into #32 would be better. Since starting Sheiko I have run 3 cycles (29-39-39) back to back with no time off. Now that I am thinking about it this might be the longest I have trained without a break.

Feeling fatigued is a good sign. Personally, I wouldn't take any time off. I would run 3 weeks of #30 and then straight into #32 without any break.

So are you saying the first 3 weeks of #30 and then run all of #37? I have read many feel running all of #37 is to much of not enough.

I don't follow you. Not sure why you would run #37. If you have 7 weeks left, I would run 3 more week of prep and then #32 which is a 4 week comp cycle.

Joel, thanks for the input. Taking into consideration your experience and suggestion I will be running #30 in its entirety followed by weeks 1, 3 & 4 of #32 right up to the meet (meet day being last day of week 4). I just started wk1 of #30. It's gonna be a fun one from the looks of it. Mostly meat and very little potatoes.
