For a number of reasons, when I begin my next sheiko cycle next week I'm going to bring the overhead press back into my workouts. I'd like some advice on how to add it in.
It seems that the sets/reps would be similar to the way the bench is programmed, but I can either add in additional press workouts throughout the week, or I can replace some of the bench sessions with press sessions. I am leaning towards the former, because my benching has been quite easy so far and the press doesn't take much out of me in terms of recovery.
Any experience or advice would be appreciated, and I'll be sure to share how well this experiment works (or doesn't).

I have only done two cycles but it isn't that hard to find places to put them. Honestly too many people look at the routines as written with blinders. Boris just filled in the blanks with general movements that he liked for various reasons but if you look at the way Ben breaks down week in his cycle in generic terms you can sub any lift but the main ones mostly. reply 5 of bmfsports.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=sheiko&action=display&thread=1621But to be more specific what I did was sub overhead pressing for some bench flys in the 10 rep ranges and swapped incline pressing for overhead pressing. The sets could be either static or ramping. This has been brought to you by my opinion. (disclaimer)
