Hi guys!
I'm new to the board and new to Sheiko so I thought I'd start by giving you guys a short introduction of myself. Seems fair since I'll most likely ask you a question or two during the following 13 weeks.
33 years old non-competitive lifter from Sweden that just get great kicks from getting stronger. I feel that I've been spinning my wheels for quite some time, and that's mainly because of an injury that I got roughly 1,5 years ago when I hurt my lower back. As a lifter I'm highly motivated (will never miss a workout).
Ever since the injury I've had problems squatting, so I opted to do the front squat as my main squat movement (this I can do without any pain, and since I'm not planning on competing I'm OK with that).
I have however been hesitant to take up deadlifting simply because I'm afraid of re-injuring myself. Now for the question:
I'm planning to do Dave's 13-week program, only using very conservative numbers on my deadlifts so I won't wreck my back again.
Cheers, Denby
