Hi everybody. It's nice to see a decent sheiko forum on the internet, and I'm hoping you guys can help me. I'm currently trying to figure out how to plan a long term cycle with the three cms/ms prep blocks and the one comp block (found in the popular sheiko excel spreadsheet and listed in sheiko's book). Specifically, I'm not sure if the three cms_ms preparatory blocks are supposed to be run in some sort of order before starting the comp block or if the three prep blocks are more or less standalone and not intended to be run in a sequence. I know the rated routines have a general order to them, but I haven't seen the cms/ms routines discussed as much. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

All that I can say is that it is proven most effective running two prep cycles and one peaking cycle. At least that's what I've read.

ancom, we have found that the best results come from cycles that are around 12-16 weeks in length. I would say that running the 3 CMS cycles and the comp would be too long (20 weeks in total). I'm not exactly sure if they're supposed to be run back to back or not though.
CMS 3 is less volume and more intensity compared to CMS 1, so perhaps it's been written for a lifter who does better from intensity rather than volume.
