Ok, so this may sound stupid, but I was just wondering who some pro lifters were that use Sheiko. First off, I want to state that this is not to create a debate of programs, but I have some free time while at home and want to check out youtube videos of some of the top guys. I don't hear about them much, living in the US, but I know of Belyaev and of course Talmant, but not many others.
Also, Sheiko seems to mainly be meant for 3 lift guys, are there many bench only guys who use Sheiko. I want to check out their videos as well, because injuries might cause me to become a 1 lift guy.
Once again, this is not a troll post to start a debate of Sheiko vs. other programs, I just want to check out some videos in my spare time and to pump me up before lifting. Thanks for the help.

Sheiko trains the big 3 and that is what is used in a powerlifting meet. You cannot argue the results that Sheiko provides. Cycle after cycle can get boring after awhile but the results cannot be denied.

There are a lot of guys that use Sheiko or a high volume approach that is similar in nature. Yes, obviously Talmant is a Sheiko guy as well as a host of Russian and Ukrainian IPF champions (more than I could name). Caslow still uses a form of the Sheiko template, modified for his needs. Wade Hooper is a multi-time IFP champion and trains Sheiko. While not necessarily Sheiko, both Mike Tuchscherer (with his RTS system, which I think is a good system, the book is excellent!) and Brian Siders are IPF champions and train with a similar high volume approach. This is just off the top of my head, I'm leaving out a ton of great lifters. I would say if you were to single out one training approach that has produced more IPF champions, it is Sheiko.

All you want to know is a list of guts that sucessfully used sheiko?
Obviously the best example is the undisputed best pl'er ever Fedosienko.
Belayev Govorin I think. Suslov Bondarenko I think too. Hooper

I just wanted names of lifters who train Sheiko.

Hooper Thanks Ben! Yeah I knew it was a weird question, but that's all that I wanted. I just wanted a name of lifters to check out, since I knew the majority were European and I don't really hear about them in the US.

Hooper Govorin was directly coached by Sheiko when he was Kazakh coach I believe. I think he was better than Fedosienko!

I always think Fedosienkos sqs can look a bit ragged compared with the other ruskis. No one in this era at least can hold a candle to Belayevs efficiency and technique imo. I don't know of any bench only sheiko lifters. Bench only seems more of an American multiply phenomenon to me, maybe someone will correct me. Bagpipe - Fedosienko has all time highest Wilkes EVER, right? I know you are a bit of a bod for this sh*t so you're probly right but how can Govorin be better than that? Did he have best ever Schwartz or something?

Ben, in the video I watched, his walkouts looked shaky, but when you are that light walking out that much weight, I understand some shaking. I agree, Belayev's technique is the best. Although, it seemed like Fedosienko was just as efficient because he barely had to move his bench and deadlift.
I also understand that bench only tends to be American multiply, I just wasn't sure because I know there is a Swedish guy that is bench only and I wasn't sure if he was using Sheiko since it is so popular in Europe. Thanks for the help.

Hi Gatorman
In Sweden we have many Bench Only guys (IPF),but as far as i know i dont think Sheiko training is big over here.Never heard any of them mention that way of trainig. The best benchers here are Fredrik Svensson,Marcus Hirvonen,Johnny Walquist & many more good once, some of them do full meet as well

I don't think Wilks is the be all and end all - Wilks himself has told SP that he doesn't think it's completely accurate. It obviously favours the smaller guys. Govorin was multiple world champ and WR holder.
