Has anyone ever considered splitting Sheiko up? For instance, Bench Press on Mon, Wed, Fri and Squat & or DL on Tue, Thur, Sat. Would this affect recovery?

Wouldnt even consider that. With the volume involved with squat and deadlift on the same night approx 35 sets total this would kill a male gorilla, so you better have wicked recuperation genetics.

I think I may have worded that poorly. What I'm trying to say is press on one day and then do the rest of that session, be it squat or DL, on the next day. Just considering shorter training sessions although you'd be lifting almost every day.

No! - the whole point of Sheiko programming is you get all your volume done in the 3 days a week (for a rated lifter). You really need those days off in between, they're like gold! And imagine you have a double squat on Monday, what do you do in between the two squats if you're benching the next day? Not possible to do it all straight through.

What if you have your second squat or second bench session to do but it is late in the evening and you are not keen on missing sleep, can you leave it to the next morning?
