Hey I train Sheiko and raw and don't know where else to ask a form opinion for raw pulls. Unfortunately the angle is a little bad, but can you tell me if the starting position is ok?
Thank you.

I think the start position is solid but you have a problem with either your hips or upperbac/shoulder position.
Good sumo pullers (NOT me btw) never end up with their shoulders in front of the bar and have to contort to lock em out, their torso Is already in the perfect position to lock out (upperback arched and shoulders back) by the time the bar clears their knees. Check out Belayev or old vids of Olegsander Kutcher.
I would say you can try either sliding your hips through a lot earlier (push hips forward as soon as bar clears knees) or starting with shoulder blades already retracted and locking them in like that throughout the pull.
That way you shouldn't end up all hunched over/forward at the top.
My advice counts for nowt though I could never make sumo work for me I had same problem u do but it is 100 times worse in a suit.

Theres Kutcher i had never seen his lifts until reading this and searching. Quite a celebration.
and thats Beyalev..
Ben is correct about the shoulder position. I wont comment too much though as im only learning this myself but i will say that when you get the shoulders locked back during setup it takes a lot of effort out of the lifts and it feels fast and easy like Belyaev makes it look.
Keep it up

thanks for the input. My shoulders are what I saw wrong too. Those videos are intense, and I will differently try to mimic them.

Its not just the shoulders you have to get the hips forward in sync with getting the shoulders back. If you can pull like either of them vids then more power to you lad, i think maybe you could be one of the few people who can really nail that 'levering the bar off the floor' sumo technique but dont forget that they are they best of the best and most people wont ever get that good.
