I used to use creatine years ago to good effecti in the gym (more reps with near-max weights), but i stopped because back then i was bodybuilding and didnt want 'the bloat'. However, i am actually a bit underweight these days so the weiht gain effect doesnt bother me. The UK company i get some of my supps from do good quality creatine for peanuts - about £1.25 for 100g, so i bought some to revisit it again.
I have looked around to see if creatine has any effect on either metabolic oxidation or the ANS, and i couldnt find any evidence to suggest either. Creatine appears to be a totally neutral substance as far as MT goes. Does anyone have any input to suggest different?

I'm also a para/fast ox. I've never noticed any negative effects with creatine.
Like you say, you hold some water and get a bit more endurance int gym, but I've never noticed any actual strength gains, so as a powerlifter, I've ceased using it.
