Saw this interesting article on EliteFTS (ignoring the brand names mentioned, which are overhyped and overpriced) www.elitefts.com/documents/wasting_time.htm. Anyone have any opinions on it? Kinda encompasses what is already discussed in the MT Information pack (using LEAP-MRT for food allergies, HCL, enzymes, and pro-biotics for restoring gut health), as well as in Paul Chek's Eat, Live, and Be Healthy book (with regards to regunlar and sufficient faeces production). However, there are some new concepts in here as well, such as the Zinc Taste Test which i mentioned in a previous post, and also tracking the transit time of your food through doing either the 'corn' or 'beets' test, and some good protocols to deal with either constipation of diarrhea problems.

Hmm...the link on my end is broken and leading me to nowhere? Can you post it again?

It is not a bad article, but in reading it I can tell you that most Metabolic Typing (R) advisors that also have an Functional Diagnostic Nutrition certification do this type of mucosal membrane barrier (gut) testing on a regular basis. He should have specified that glutamine is the amino that is most effective in healing the gut, along with Mucosa Max. There are a few other things, but no need to nitpick. Healing the gut is standard fare for MT advisors. However, we have the "power" to test exactly what is happening in the gut with the BioHealth 304 Mucosal Membrane Barrier Test. The other tests that the author mentioned may or may not be reliable; but we like the 304 which oftentimes leads to a 401 test. I will say that I totally agree with the overall objective of the article; which is to draw awareness and importance to the immune system via the mucosal barrier.
