Hey guys... Looks like next year i´m not gonna be able to do full 12 week cycles as the meets are not that far apart, most are 6 - 7 wks apart and one is, i think, 10 wks from the next. Anyone else have that challenge? How would you train?

I think 4 or so comps a year is optimum - i dont think you can expect to make much progress in 6 wks.
But we've all been in that situation, you just have to adjust your programming accordingly. In a 6 wk build up following a comp you'd probably want to go:
1 - Easyish light conditioning wk 2,3,4,5 - a prep cycle that ends on some high weights like #31 6 - deload wk

John I have had this dillemma as well. I have found that the big 12 week cycles are where you build the strength but i have had great comps after the shoretened versions due to being very fresh. I think for your importand comp in June you should make the 7 weeks include a proper deload comp cycle. I've done 7 week cycles twice, once like ben said with the prep cycle and just one week deload and altough i probably gained strength in the long run i wasnt prepared for the comp so didnt do so well. The last time i did Conditioning week then the first 3 weeks, then instead of a skills evaluation i just did the last 3 weeks which is comp cycle and deload week. I felt greatfor the comp and smashed some big PRs.
My opinion is lots of prep cycles to move forward over the year but comp cycles before any important comps.
Good luck man! SHEIKO POWER!!!

I would just bin off all those one lift meets. If your ultimate goal is to get stronger on the 3 powerlifts i think your time would be better spent training to get better at them and testing them periodically at 3 lift meets (i.e. your June and October comps).
You could still fit in the bench only stuff, but if you do that much competing you necessarily have to do less actual training. I think that is far less than optimal in the long run. You could always just run prep cycles and do the single lift stuff with no peak/deload i.e. just treat it as a training session if you were mad nutty for it.
