i have a fireman who will compete at the world police & fireman game for a PUSH & PULL...i would like to know what would be the best cycle to do.

Could you take a Sheiko template and swap the pulling and squatting around? By that I mean; Monday - Deadlift & bench Wednesday - Squat & bench Friday - Deadlift & bench Or would the universe implode? I'd be silly enough to try something like that.

I think thats a pretty good idea.
What i might also look at is running say #29, but changing the deadlift work upwards and sq work downwards.
Id make sure that the overall weekly and monthly volume and RI was the same as before just weighted more towards deadlift and less towards squat.

It's geared towards the deadlift already.I agree with Dave and can't say which would be "the best" for a push/pull meet. Our experience comes from working with and dealing with 3-lift powerlifters. If you give something a go, then let us know exactly what you tried and how it worked.

I think it would be too much... The Russians would have done it if it would have worked.. You can deadlift twice a week and still recover.
