This has probably been asked before, but what is the goal of #37? Is it base-building, or accumulation, or recovery, etc.? Is it for bottom-end rated lifters, or for everyone? Do you always run it after peaking (#32)?

Do you always run it after peaking (#32)? Its a prep cycle...the Sheiko cycles arnt really set up for "base-building, or accumulation, or recovery" as far as I know only for either getting you stronger or peaking you for a meet. There are slight variations e.g. 29 is set up more for pulling but... #37 would be a fine cycle to go to after you finished yor meet (#32) i think Dave has his guys do a lighter 'conditioning' week after a meet though. Personally i have a week of going int gym and doing 'fun' stuff. #37 for rated lifter, i.e. one step below CMS but quite low intensity compared to some of other rated lifter cycles i.e. #30, #31.

Just did 29/37/32 and am thinking of 37/37/32. Might try 37/31/32 after that, some of those squat days on 31 look mean. How did 29/32/30 work out for you? I did 29/37/32. Well, just for background, this was the first training cycle I have done since competing as a 90kg lifter last July. In addition, I put on 4kg during the cycle (which I attribute to the program). So both those factors could distort the results I got, which were pretty good. 7% increase on squat (felt like I could have done more), 5% on bench and 4.3% on dead (felt like I could have done more). I think the next cycle will be a more accurate reflection of where I am at.

Wow, 7% on the squat is amazing, not to mention your other lifts were also great increases. Even with putting on some body weight, it definitely doesn't diminish those gains.

I think in the context of things they are somewhat distorted and I will learn more from this coming cycle. If I get the same percentages on this one, I will be absolutely thrilled.
