Any PRs Mike? How did you feel it went? Hey Joel. The deadlift was a PR and the squat tied for my PR. My best bench ever was 375 so I came close on that. I just couldnt lock out the 370, came awful close though.

Coach Bates all the credit goes to you. I just did what you told me. Anybody that doesnt want to work with you is a fool. I have worked with many powerlifting coaches before but none with results this good. As Bret "The Hitman" Hart said Coach Bates you are the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.

Excellent work Mike, great increase on the pull. Big bench you got there...what BW are you at? Hey Ben thanks for showing me love on my pull and bench. I am about 260 pounds. So right now I'd be in the 275 division. I'd like to cardio it up though and compete in the 242s. My best raw bench ever was 375 pounds so Im knocking on the door. I brought the 370 down and almost all the way up but I could not lock it out. Hows your training going mate? I hope good. You are gonna kick some ass at your next meet.

Mike - I had a skills test last night, it didn't go too great. Missed PB attempts on the squat and deadlift, got a 5kg (11lb) PB on the bench, so that's something at least.

Dont get down on yourself Joel. Increasing your bench by 5 kg is fantastic. I think its very hard to bring up all 3 lifts at the same time. Sometimes near impossible if you arent using drugs or arent super gifted gentically. Great to hear about your bench PR Joel! Keep it up! 5 kg is great, hold your head up high, Joel!

Nah I dont think Dave coached Bret Hart. I was reading the book "Hitman" which is great by the way so I figured I'd throw in a little Bret The Hitman Hart quote. I wonder if Bud ever wrestled him. I'll have to ask him. Bret was trained in the infamous Dungeon of his father Stu Hart. I think Coach Bates couldve have got him quite a bit stronger though. I guess finesse and technical wrestling was more his thing. Hows your training coming Ben? I hope well. Peace and thanks for checking out my training log.

I think I'm going to get back started on this soon. My back had been hurting for months. I've started lifting again but real light. I would like to try another Sheiko cycle in a few weeks.
