Okay...the Holosync stuff:
For me, it was not as effective as reading and then implementing some techniques from "Meditation for Dummies", "The Power of Now", "A New Earth", "The Seat of the Soul", etc.
I have read Centerpointe's book "Thresholds of the Mind" and I like most of what is in there. However, I guess the proof is in the pudding. I only tried and listened to the Awakening Prologue (the suggested first 60 minutes-but that same 60 minutes for weeks and weeks) and did not go any higher.
I just seemed to "get more" out of reading certain concepts and then having them stir in the back of my brain all day while I worked on them in real world situations.
Maybe Holosync was a tiny bridge that got me to where I am right now? I did not have the experiences that they promote on their web site and in Bill Harris's talks.

Jared:
Rob's recommendation is an excellent place to start. It should help.
I also think I conveyed some thoughts to you in an email about my recommendations.

Always keep in mind that everything-every food, every nutrient, every supplement-is relative to one's unique body chemistry.

Eric, You have mentioned several times that you can look up specific supplement ingredients to see how they might affect a certain metabolic type. Is that information available to people that have taken the MT Test? For example if there was a particular product I was interesting in I could look up each ingredient instead of asking you. I can try posting some of that information right here, Doug. Here are the genres that we have data for thus far: Some Common Medications Vitamins Minerals Some Amino Acids If you think any of these would be helpful then let me know and I can try to post what I have here.

Cheers for the offer on the di-potassium phosphate Eric, i might take you up on that offer if you feel it is quite effective for maintaining power during long Sheiko sessions ... ? Thanks for the interview link Mike. Just listened to it and was v. interesting. Eric, you seem to suggest the anabolic foods are more important before training, but i have been emphasising them after training. Should i re-arrange my pre- and post-workout nutrition to emphasise more anabolic foods pre? My pre- and post-workout nutrition is: Pre: 1 boiled duck eggs, 100g tempeh and a pear. Immediately PWO: 1 banana and a whey hydrolysate shake. I'm going to replace the hydrolysate with colostrum, which is higher in fat, and also chuck some coconut flour in. 1 hour PWO: 1 boiled duck egg, 80g raw rochefort chese, 30g mushrooms, all steamed, on top of some raw spinach + watercress and topped with a large knob of organic, free range butter. During training, once i have the di-potassium phosphate, i will add in a custom-made training drink. Based upon Eric's Q&A discussions on EliteFTS, which i will quote here: "to 20 ounces of purified water, add 4 teaspoons of dextrose, plus 1/8 teaspoon of Celtra Salt, plus 1/32 teaspoon of di-potassium phosphate. An athlete can drink this throughout the longest and most demanding athletic competition without the need to drink additional water to maintain hydration and have confidence that electrolytes are being replaced in perfect proportion" My only concern is that dextrose might cause problems for a parasympathetic fast oxidiser like myself. Perhaps just remove that ingredient? Rob: Just as with everything; there are no absolutes. I just wanted to point out that we *can* influence the anabolic/catabolic FHC both before and after training. Break out the DCR's and go through the process of trial and error. If you try different permutations, then after 4 or so weeks I bet you will have a solid handle on what works best for you. Just keep in mind that they are both important-before and after. I actually feel the best when I simply eat right for my type right before training and then after training. I will take anabolic supplement support, but I still eat meat both before and after training. That is what my DCR's yielded after much trial and error. Yes, try the drink with different amounts of dextrose. You will eventually find out how much (if any at all) is optimum for you.

Thanks for posting this Jared.
I encourage everyone to post any sort of references to Metabolic Typing and simply getting healthier.

Sure thing Jared. The biggest concern would be one of heavy metals leeching into the beans-or whatever food you buy canned. Over time, canned foods *can* lose some of their nutritional content. If you buy conventional canned beans, then the issue of additional preservatives and sodium comes into play. This is not so much the case with organic canned beans, as there are usually no additional preservatives; and many use sea salt instead of conventional table salt. I will also say that dried beans cost much less In doing a Metabolic Typing program, we would always want to do our best to remove such things as heavy metals (blocking factors) from our diet the best we can. I use canned beans ever sparingly. Most of the time I either soak mine or do the "quick soak method" that is suggested on the package. Since I make extensive use of beans and lentils in my diet, I find myself cooking them a few times a week. I hope this helps.

Eric, Can you email me your homeopathy ladies info? What form of Magnesium do you recommend for FO's? Thanks, Rob is exactly right. Unless you are addressing an acute stressor, magnesium for a FO is usually not the best option. However, every situation is different. Removing blocking factors and toxic loads are the way to combat stress; along with proper supplementation that rebuilds and reinstates the adrenal glands via the BioHealth 205 adrenal profile: www.viddler.com/explore/bmfsports/videos/69/9.859Please email me for the homeopathy practitioner's contact information.

Eric, are you too busy to keep a training log at the moment, or have you gone "underground"? Hey Joel. I would say it is a little of both. You guys are getting an exclusive here, as I won't post this anywhere else. Since I teamed up with a well-known chef several months ago I have been as busy as ever. Coupled with the fact that Raw Unity is growing by leaps and bounds leaves little time for me to be posting my log and answering training questions. Why? Because after the Clash of the Titans this past April we made a huge shift in my training style. I now train radically different than I used to; and by most standard accounts what I do is probably "crazy". However, since we have only tried this type of training on me we really don't want to be putting it all over the internet just yet; because we don't know how effective it might be for others. Furthermore, I make extensive use of the Tendo Unit in my training now. Unless you have a Tendo Unit, my training will not make as much sense to you to simply see it in black and white in a training log. I hope this somewhat answers your question. If you want to hit Dave up about my training on the Sheiko forum then feel free to do so. I don't mind if he talks about what we are doing now; but I simply don't have the time to allocate to answering training questions right now when my priorities are growing my MT business and growing the Raw Unity Meet. I hope you guys understand.
