Why the 'slow' sq's and 'fast' pulls...?
You're thinking that your sq carries over to your pull well enough that you'll get the adaption from the quasi-iso from that, but you need the speed in the pull to get past any sticking points?

I dont no. I haven't pulled for 3 months due to being at a gym that doesn't condone deadlifting (yes I know) but even though my leg strength is way up its had no positive effect on my pull. Because I get such a big stretch reflex out of the deadlift now I've reach the stage I realise I have to train it and often. With a pull (no stretch reflex) my best pull is around 240kg... you can see here; Also my best rack pull is 250kg from 2" below the knee....once I hit the knee position I can deadlift 300kg from pins no problem. Strength curve is way out of wack....
