Courtesy of Mr. Bud, via Alan at APT three brand new grippers arrived at my door on this past Saturday. I've been working volume with no set in preparation for Ironmind certification and the wide variance in strength of these new HG's will most certainly help me in my training.
Thanks Bud!!!

That's Awesome Jeff! We have years and years and years of Ironmind in our library here at home. I want to see your feature in there once you close the gripper! It's a very revered list to be on and I respect your dedication to grip feats.

Thanks Amber, it's weird how grip has consumed me - my goals used to be focused on big numbers in the dead, now all I wanna do is close grippers, rips cards and throw around kettlebells. Hopefully in the not too distant future, my name will be up on that list

Nothing wrong with that Jeff! Grip is still a strength sport and your deads have helped lay your foundation. Pierre, my husband got into it for a while. We had boxes of playing cards when we got married and stacks of old phone books. I asked him why and he enlightened me about grip training. They were to be torn! He has alot of the ironmind products like the grippers 1,2,3, rolling thunder, and all sorts of hand impliments. It is a bigger sport than most would think! And a very cool one at that!

Yeah, it's crazy how big of a following grip has - the Gripboard has nearly 10,000 members. It seems to be a real tight knit community, that if they could just get together a board and some rules, that could really make some noise in the world of strength sports

Where is this Grip board at if you wouldnt mind me asking? Ive been using the Iron Mind grippers the T one and the 1 one. I would like to interact with others that use these grippers. Also my grip on my deadlift is much improved courtesy of these grippers. I raraely have grip issues with my DL.

It's going very well Mike, Thanks for the well wishes. I've been doing a lot of work with David Horne's Vulcan (adjustable) gripper and have improved greatly in bending over the last few months and I still feel as though certification on the CoC #3 is a possibility before '09 is through.
Grip work really is addictive, you'll easily be able to see that after a little time cruising around the Gripboard. Lots of good people there too, just don't let yourself get too caught up in the "politics"

Thanks for the info Jeff. Im just starting out with the grippers with the Iron Mind T one mainly. I have a lot of respect for what you guys do. No easy task squeezing them things together. I struggle with a 1 to close it at times. I would like to get better at it thats for sure. Anyway thanks for getting me started Jeff and God bless. I hope you close a 4 someday brother!
